Join the movement to improve health and well-being in
Lake, Newaygo, and Oceana counties with REACH!

Learn more about

In 2023, District Health Department #10 (DHD#10) was awarded the Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) grant by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As one of only 50 organizations chosen across 32 states and the District of Columbia, we are proud to take part in this five year effort to reduce health disparities in our communities! Read more about the REACH program here.

At DHD#10, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy life. That’s why our REACH program is working hard to address factors to improve health and prevent chronic diseases in the African American and Hispanic communities in our Lake, Newaygo, and Oceana communities.

Through this program, we’re committed to making healthy eating and physical activity more accessible and affordable, so everyone can enjoy better health and a brighter future. By working with the community, we’re committed to creating real, long-term changes that will help improve the well-being of our neighbors.
