Take the Prediabetes Risk Test to find out!
The National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) is a yearlong, evidence-based, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recognized lifestyle change program for those who have been diagnosed with prediabetes or are at a high risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
A key part of the NDPP is to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes in program participants. Participants will be given the opportunity to learn skills and tools needed to make simple, lasting choices that improve their overall health like eating healthier, adding physical activity to their day, and improving coping skills.
DHD#10's NDPP is led by five trained lifestyle coaches who facilitate, motivate, and encourage group dynamics among a community of people looking to make lasting healthy lifestyle changes to their life.
