LiveWell Manistee has been working on expanding our tobacco free parks initiative over the last 3 years. We have successfully worked with 23 parks throughout the county to adopt a tobacco free resolution and install signage. The tobacco free parks initiative focuses on decreasing adolescent exposure to second hand smoke and modeling behavior in an effort to reduce tobacco usage among teens. The tobacco free resolution includes all forms of tobacco, including electronic cigarettes.
