LiveWell For Your Heart
Lake & Mecosta County
Taking care of your heart is essential for a long life. Heart disease is the number one killer of adults in the United States.
What is LiveWell for your Heart?
Live Well for Your Heart fights heart disease and changes people's lives.
District Health Department #10, Baldwin Family Health Care, My Community Dental Center, Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital, and Ferris State University partnered in Lake and Mecosta Counties to help reduce the risk of heart disease in adults by increasing access to health care services and programs and screening individuals aged 30-74 using the CDC Heart Age Calculator.
Though this program has now ended, everyone is encouraged to continue using the Heart Age Calculator to determine their Heart Age and risk for heart attack or stroke!
