Smoothie STARS-April
April!! Spring is upon us, my friends. I'm bringing to you two smoothies for April featuring carrots to get you ready for the season.

1. Peach Carrot Smoothie
I used baby carrots for this because I thought they would chopped up in the smoothie easier than larger carrots. Chopped carrots will work just as well.
- 1 ½ cups Peaches (frozen or canned)
- 1 cup baby carrots
- 1 frozen banana
- ¼ cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Tip: If using frozen peaches, blend everything else together first then add the frozen peaches as sometimes they can be hard to blend.

2. Carrot Cake Smoothie
An Easter classic and a favorite of mine. This smoothie tastes pretty darn close to the real thing.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup baby carrots (or chopped carrots)
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk of choice)
- ½ cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup oats
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- dash of nutmeg
Add everything to blender and blend until combined
