Today's the last day of American Diabetes Month, and, as we head towards the end of the year, it's the perfect time to recommit to healthy behaviors or take your routine to the next level. The holiday season can be a lot, and we often spend long hours prepping, dusting, cooking, mopping, shopping, and doing whatever else is required of us to make our homes and ourselves presentable—regardless of whether we’re hosting an in-person or virtual get-together. But don’t let the festivities derail your progress towards a healthier YOU.
This week, make it a point to recommit to your health goals by taking small, incremental steps forward. Start off by fueling yourself (and your team) with simple, better-for-you plant-based snacks that are sure to power you throughout the day; during the day, make use of some creative ways to fit exercise into your routine; and finally, try a sleep ritual to help you wake up feeling rejuvenated and energized.
